Masterclass Volunteer

Seeking a Professional Volunteer for Youth Empowerment Masterclasses in Poplar, East London

We are a youth charity organisation based in Teviot Estate, Poplar, East London, dedicated to uplifting and supporting young individuals between the ages of 16 – 18. We believe in fostering a nurturing environment that will help them realise their potential and empower them to follow their dreams.

We are currently seeking a professional volunteer who can help us in delivering masterclasses to our youth, thereby making a significant difference in their lives. The volunteer should have a skill or expertise in a particular field that could benefit these young individuals, such as arts, sports, music, business, coding, leadership, entrepreneurship, or any other areas that might inspire and cultivate their skills, knowledge, and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and empowering masterclasses to our youth group
  • Sharing your unique experiences and insights from your field of expertise
  • Mentoring and inspiring the young individuals, providing them with practical knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • A strong background in an area of expertise beneficial to the youth
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Passionate about youth development and empowerment
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, as safeguarding the young individuals we serve is our utmost priority
  • Able to commit a few hours per week to deliver these masterclasses
